Czechia registered 36 864 passenger cars in October 2025: 23 298 new cars (63.2% of the total) and 13 566 used imports. That is up 6.2% on September 2025 and up 10.3% on October 2024. Year to date the market stands at 330 589 registrations, up 5.7% on the same period of last year. Private buyers accounted for 24.8% of the new cars; the rest were registered to companies, leasing firms and fleets.

SKODA led the brand ranking with 12 030 registrations and a 32.6% share, ahead of VOLKSWAGEN (4 251) and TOYOTA (1 805). Together the top three brands took 49.1% of the market. Among the ten largest brands, RENAULT grew fastest year on year (+42.0%) while FORD fell furthest (โˆ’13.3%). The best-selling model was the SKODA OCTAVIA with 1 785 registrations, followed by the SKODA KAROQ (1 314) and the SKODA KAMIQ (1 240).

Battery-electric cars took 5.4% of new registrations, compared with 7.0% in October 2024. Plug-in hybrids took 4.2%, other hybrids 23.5%, diesel 15.8% and petrol 48.5%. The leading electric brand was SKODA with 594 battery-electric registrations, ahead of TESLA (97). The best-selling battery-electric model was the SKODA ELROQ with 311 registrations, ahead of the SKODA ENYAQ (283). New cars averaged 127.0 g/km of COโ‚‚ (WLTP). Used imports were on average 10.4 years old when they were registered.

October 2025 was the strongest of the 26 months on this page, which average 31 572 registrations a month; the weakest was December 2023 with 24 697.
