Denmark registered 14 937 new passenger cars in September 2023. Year to date the market stands at 14 937 registrations. Private buyers accounted for 64.2% of registrations, the rest going to companies, leasing and fleets. Leasing accounted for 52.6% of the month's registrations, private leasing alone for 23.0%.
No brand or model table exists for September 2023: the importers' association publishes its make and model tables only for its two most recent months and keeps no archive, and auto-stats.eu captures them month by month from the time it added the market. Battery-electric cars took 42.5% of new registrations. Plug-in hybrids took 8.6%, diesel 6.1% and petrol 42.8%.
