The 42 brands with a page of their own registered 57 352 passenger cars in Denmark in the 4 months to August 2026. The five largest, VOLKSWAGEN, SKODA, BMW, TOYOTA and MERCEDES-BENZ, account for 45.9% of that volume and the top ten for 69.8%. VOLKSWAGEN alone registered 7 568, 1.3 times the volume of the runner-up SKODA.

Brands are ranked by 4-month volume; the ranking therefore smooths out the month-to-month swings that a single month's table shows. Each name opens a page with the brand's monthly registrations, market share and rank over the period and its model table for August 2026. Brands with very few registrations have no page of their own and appear only in the monthly tables.
