Denmark registered 11 275 new passenger cars in February 2024. That is up 27.2% on January 2024. Year to date the market stands at 20 136 registrations. Private buyers accounted for 63.4% of registrations, the rest going to companies, leasing and fleets. Leasing accounted for 54.0% of the month's registrations, private leasing alone for 23.4%.

Battery-electric cars took 44.1% of new registrations. Plug-in hybrids took 4.6%, diesel 5.9% and petrol 45.4%.
