Denmark registered 19 578 new passenger cars in June 2024. That is up 33.7% on May 2024. Year to date the market stands at 86 672 registrations. Private buyers accounted for 55.7% of registrations, the rest going to companies, leasing and fleets. Leasing accounted for 55.9% of the month's registrations, private leasing alone for 18.5%.
No brand or model table exists for June 2024: the importers' association publishes its make and model tables only for its two most recent months and keeps no archive, and auto-stats.eu captures them month by month from the time it added the market. Battery-electric cars took 50.7% of new registrations. Plug-in hybrids took 3.2%, diesel 8.6% and petrol 37.5%.
June 2024 was the strongest of the 10 months on this page, which average 15 045 registrations a month; the weakest was January 2024 with 8 861.
