Denmark registered 11 577 new passenger cars in July 2024. That is down 40.9% on June 2024. Year to date the market stands at 98 249 registrations. Private buyers accounted for 62.6% of registrations, the rest going to companies, leasing and fleets. Leasing accounted for 57.2% of the month's registrations, private leasing alone for 26.1%.
No brand or model table exists for July 2024: the importers' association publishes its make and model tables only for its two most recent months and keeps no archive, and auto-stats.eu captures them month by month from the time it added the market. Battery-electric cars took 51.2% of new registrations. Plug-in hybrids took 3.8%, diesel 7.3% and petrol 37.7%.
July 2024 was the 9th-highest of the 11 months on this page, which average 14 730 registrations a month; the peak was June 2024 with 19 578 and the low January 2024 with 8 861.
