Denmark registered 14 951 new passenger cars in November 2024. That is up 3.9% on October 2024 and down 8.6% on November 2023. Year to date the market stands at 156 023 registrations, up 250.0% on the same period of last year. Private buyers accounted for 58.3% of registrations, the rest going to companies, leasing and fleets. Leasing accounted for 59.0% of the month's registrations, private leasing alone for 22.3%.
No brand or model table exists for November 2024: the importers' association publishes its make and model tables only for its two most recent months and keeps no archive, and auto-stats.eu captures them month by month from the time it added the market. Battery-electric cars took 58.6% of new registrations, compared with 44.2% in November 2023. Plug-in hybrids took 3.8%, diesel 8.0% and petrol 29.6%.
November 2024 was the 7th-highest of the 15 months on this page, which average 14 653 registrations a month; the peak was June 2024 with 19 578 and the low January 2024 with 8 861.
