Spain registered 92 970 passenger cars in November 2024: 82 656 new cars (88.9% of the total) and 10 314 used imports. That is down 2.2% on October 2024 and up 7.1% on November 2023. Year to date the market stands at 1 016 909 registrations, up 6.9% on the same period of last year.

TOYOTA led the brand ranking with 8 027 registrations and a 8.6% share, ahead of VOLKSWAGEN (7 368) and RENAULT (7 146). Together the top three brands took 24.3% of the market. Among the ten largest brands, RENAULT grew fastest year on year (+55.9%) while HYUNDAI fell furthest (โˆ’19.5%). The best-selling model was the DACIA SANDERO with 3 035 registrations, followed by the SEAT IBIZA (2 033) and the RENAULT CAPTUR (1 999).

Battery-electric cars took 6.7% of all registrations, compared with 7.4% in November 2023. Among new cars alone the electric share was 7.1%. Plug-in hybrids took 5.0%, other hybrids 37.0%, diesel 13.8% and petrol 33.7%. The leading electric brand was TESLA with 1 749 battery-electric registrations, ahead of BMW (441). The best-selling battery-electric model was the TESLA MODEL 3 with 1 147 registrations, ahead of the TESLA MODEL Y (573). New cars averaged 113.9 g/km of COโ‚‚ (WLTP). Used imports were on average 9.5 years old when they were registered.

November 2024 was the 7th-highest of the 16 months on this page, which average 88 537 registrations a month; the peak was June 2024 with 112 842 and the low August 2024 with 61 172.
