Which countries register the most cars for their population. Measured on new cars, Luxembourg registers the most for its size, 70.4 new cars per 1,000 inhabitants in a year, and Romania the fewest, 7.7.

Growth
Which car markets are growing and which are shrinking, on three measures. Over the year to date, Estonia has grown fastest (+67.0%) and Romania is at the other end (โ13.1%); 19 of the 23 markets are above the same months of the year before.
Market concentration
How much of each market its three and ten largest brands hold. Czechia is the most concentrated market: its three largest brands hold 48.3% of registrations, led by Skoda with 31.2%.

Brands owned by Chinese groups
The share of BYD, MG, Leapmotor and the other Chinese-owned brands, country by country. Brands owned by Chinese groups hold 11.4% of registrations in the United Kingdom, the highest share on this site, against 1.0% in Lithuania.

Tesla's registrations, market share and rank among brands in every market. Tesla is strongest in Finland, with 5.8% of registrations and rank 7 among all brands, and weakest in Poland (0.5%).

Seasonality
The strongest and the weakest month of the year in each market. Ireland is the most seasonal market: January brings 14.5% of a year's registrations and December 2.8%, a ratio of 5.28.

Private buyers
How many cars are registered to private persons and how many to companies. Private buyers take 66.6% of registrations in Denmark and 10.2% in Estonia, the two ends of the twelve markets that publish the figure.

Hybrids and plug-in hybrids
The share of hybrids and of plug-in hybrids in each market's latest period. Plug-in hybrids are most common in the Netherlands (25.4% of new cars and used imports) and rarest in Denmark (0.1% of new cars).
