Poland registered 114 167 passenger cars in January 2025: 44 752 new cars (39.2% of the total) and 69 415 used imports. Year to date, meaning January alone, the total is 114 167.

TOYOTA led the brand ranking with 11 706 registrations and a 10.3% share, ahead of VOLKSWAGEN (10 258) and FORD (8 050). Together the top three brands took 26.3% of the market. The best-selling model was the VOLKSWAGEN GOLF with 2 614 registrations, followed by the TOYOTA COROLLA (2 494) and the SKODA OCTAVIA (2 179). The GOLF arrived mainly as a used import: 2 150 used against 464 new.

Battery-electric cars took 1.5% of all registrations. Among new cars alone the electric share was 2.6%. Hybrids took 18.7%, diesel 27.5% and petrol 48.0%. The leading electric brand was TESLA with 236 battery-electric registrations, ahead of KIA (211). The best-selling battery-electric model was the KIA EV6 with 132 registrations, ahead of the TESLA MODEL 3 (113). Used imports were on average 11.5 years old when they were registered.

Counts are first registrations of passenger cars in Poland in the month, read from the CEPiK API filtered on the date of first Polish registration, deregistered vehicles included; every passenger car first registered in the month is counted once. New and used imports are told apart by the registration dates. A month is re-read every day until fourteen days after it ends and is then final. Percentages are shown only when the comparison month has at least 30 registrations.
