Passenger-car registrations in Poland

Poland registered 114 550 passenger cars in February 2025: 45 037 new cars (39.3% of the total) and 69 513 used imports. That is up 0.3% on January 2025. Year to date the market stands at 228 717 registrations.

TOYOTA led the brand ranking with 10 578 registrations and a 9.2% share, ahead of VOLKSWAGEN (9 648) and AUDI (7 784). Together the top three brands took 24.5% of the market. The best-selling model was the VOLKSWAGEN GOLF with 2 635 registrations, followed by the SKODA OCTAVIA (2 213) and the KIA SPORTAGE (2 006). The GOLF arrived mainly as a used import: 2 077 used against 558 new.

Battery-electric cars took 1.9% of all registrations. Among new cars alone the electric share was 3.8%. Hybrids took 19.7%, diesel 27.1% and petrol 47.1%. The leading electric brand was TESLA with 323 battery-electric registrations, ahead of NISSAN (255). The best-selling battery-electric model was the DACIA SPRING with 242 registrations, ahead of the TESLA MODEL 3 (158). Used imports were on average 11.3 years old when they were registered.

Counts are first registrations of passenger cars in Poland in the month, read from the CEPiK API filtered on the date of first Polish registration, deregistered vehicles included; every passenger car first registered in the month is counted once. New and used imports are told apart by the registration dates. A month is re-read every day until fourteen days after it ends and is then final. Percentages are shown only when the comparison month has at least 30 registrations.
