The 56 brands with a page of their own registered 832 463 passenger cars in Sweden in the 36 months to August 2026. The five largest, VOLVO, VOLKSWAGEN, TOYOTA, KIA and MERCEDES-BENZ, account for 51.4% of that volume and the top ten for 76.0%. VOLVO alone registered 143 300, 1.4 times the volume of the runner-up VOLKSWAGEN.

Brands are ranked by 36-month volume; the ranking therefore smooths out the month-to-month swings that a single month's table shows. Each name opens a page with the brand's monthly registrations, market share and rank over the period and its model table for August 2026. Brands with very few registrations have no page of their own and appear only in the monthly tables.
