Estonia registered 6 002 passenger cars in November 2024: 3 349 new cars (55.8% of the total) and 2 653 used imports. That is up 15.4% on October 2024 and up 59.2% on November 2023. Year to date the market stands at 43 400 registrations, down 1.2% on the same period of last year. Only 10.7% of the new cars went to private holders; the rest were registered to companies, including leasing firms.

SKODA led the brand ranking with 947 registrations and a 15.8% share, ahead of TOYOTA (626) and VOLKSWAGEN (606). Together the top three brands took 36.3% of the market. Among the ten largest brands, RENAULT grew fastest year on year (+359.7%). The best-selling model was the SKODA OCTAVIA with 319 registrations, followed by the SKODA KODIAQ (244) and the VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN (180).

Battery-electric cars took 5.1% of all registrations, compared with 5.6% in November 2023. Plug-in hybrids took 6.5%, other hybrids 31.2%, diesel 30.2% and petrol 22.1%. The leading electric brand was TESLA with 62 battery-electric registrations, ahead of AUDI (34). The best-selling battery-electric model was the TESLA MODEL 3 with 40 registrations, ahead of the AUDI E-TRON (20). New cars averaged 131.6 g/km of COโ‚‚ (WLTP). Used imports were on average 8.8 years old when they were registered.

November 2024 was the strongest of the 15 months on this page, which average 3 889 registrations a month; the weakest was February 2024 with 2 928.
