Estonia registered 2 511 passenger cars in June 2025: 1 570 new cars (62.5% of the total) and 941 used imports. That is up 5.6% on May 2025 and down 29.4% on June 2024. Year to date the market stands at 10 821 registrations, down 46.7% on the same period of last year. Only 10.7% of the new cars went to private holders; the rest were registered to companies, including leasing firms.

SKODA led the brand ranking with 324 registrations and a 12.9% share, ahead of VOLKSWAGEN (261) and BMW (250). Together the top three brands took 33.3% of the market. Among the ten largest brands, RENAULT grew fastest year on year (+172.3%) while AUDI fell furthest (โˆ’53.6%). The best-selling model was the SKODA OCTAVIA with 146 registrations, followed by the TOYOTA COROLLA (97) and the RENAULT CAPTUR (86).

Battery-electric cars took 8.9% of all registrations, compared with 5.4% in June 2024. Plug-in hybrids took 10.3%, other hybrids 29.1%, diesel 23.0% and petrol 17.6%. The leading electric brand was TESLA with 39 battery-electric registrations, ahead of AUDI (22). The best-selling battery-electric model was the TESLA MODEL 3 with 21 registrations, ahead of the TESLA MODEL Y (13). New cars averaged 116.7 g/km of COโ‚‚ (WLTP). Used imports were on average 9.8 years old when they were registered.

June 2025 was the 17th-highest of the 22 months on this page, which average 3 464 registrations a month; the peak was December 2024 with 7 050 and the low January 2025 with 1 037.
