Estonia registered 3 522 passenger cars in June 2026: 1 950 new cars (55.4% of the total) and 1 572 used imports. That is down 0.1% on May 2026 and up 40.3% on June 2025. Year to date the market stands at 18 623 registrations, up 72.1% on the same period of last year. Only 7.0% of the new cars went to private holders; the rest were registered to companies, including leasing firms.

TOYOTA led the brand ranking with 493 registrations and a 14.0% share, ahead of SKODA (415) and BMW (406). Together the top three brands took 37.3% of the market. Among the ten largest brands, TOYOTA grew fastest year on year (+105.4%) while DACIA fell furthest (โˆ’9.5%). The best-selling model was the TOYOTA COROLLA with 135 registrations, followed by the BMW 3 SERIES (117) and the SKODA KODIAQ (110).

Battery-electric cars took 9.3% of all registrations, compared with 8.9% in June 2025. Plug-in hybrids took 8.7%, other hybrids 31.0%, diesel 25.6% and petrol 19.2%. The leading electric brand was TESLA with 50 battery-electric registrations, ahead of TOYOTA (40). The best-selling battery-electric model was the TOYOTA BZ4X with 30 registrations, ahead of the TESLA MODEL Y (24). New cars averaged 116.2 g/km of COโ‚‚ (WLTP). Used imports were on average 10.7 years old when they were registered.

June 2026 was the 15th-highest of the 34 months on this page, which average 3 197 registrations a month; the peak was December 2024 with 7 050 and the low January 2025 with 1 037.
