Switzerland registered 22 005 new passenger cars in November 2023. That is up 8.1% on October 2023. Year to date the market stands at 225 266 registrations.

VOLKSWAGEN led the brand ranking with 2 483 registrations and a 11.3% share, ahead of BMW (2 038) and SKODA (1 978). Together the top three brands took 29.5% of the market. The best-selling model was the SKODA ENYAQ with 538 registrations, followed by the SKODA OCTAVIA (513) and the AUDI Q4 (434).

Battery-electric cars took 21.6% of new registrations. Plug-in hybrids took 9.8%, other hybrids 28.3%, diesel 9.3% and petrol 31.0%. The leading electric brand was TESLA with 790 battery-electric registrations, ahead of AUDI (549). The best-selling battery-electric model was the SKODA ENYAQ with 536 registrations, ahead of the AUDI Q4 (433).

November 2023 was the strongest of the 3 months on this page, which average 21 313 registrations a month; the weakest was October 2023 with 20 355.
