The 40 brands with a page of their own registered 574 110 passenger cars in Ireland in the 36 months to August 2026. The five largest, VOLKSWAGEN, TOYOTA, AUDI, BMW and SKODA, account for 48.3% of that volume and the top ten for 71.2%. VOLKSWAGEN alone registered 86 265, 1.2 times the volume of the runner-up TOYOTA.

Brands are ranked by 36-month volume; the ranking therefore smooths out the month-to-month swings that a single month's table shows. Each name opens a page with the brand's monthly registrations, market share and rank over the period and its model table for August 2026. Brands with very few registrations have no page of their own and appear only in the monthly tables.
